The Daniel P. Ryan Foundation and Chic Charity Club are supporting a fundraiser on Thursday, November 1, 2012 in Woodland Park, New Jersey at The Westmount Country Club.  This fundraiser is honoring a dear friend, wonderful mother and wife, and amazing person, Shannon (Dalton) Forde.  The name of this benefit is "Hope Shines for Shannon." Shannon is 41 years old and was diagnosed on August 2, 2012 with stage IV breast cancer that has metastasized to her lymph nodes and bones.  She has begun treatment, but still works full-time while juggling a family.  Shannon is a Jersey Girl, living in Bergen County with her husband, John and two children, Nicholas (4) and Kendall (2).

The fundraiser has been rescheduled to Thursday, November 29th due to hurricane Sandy.
